Weekly Notes November 5th

JUNIOR A HURLING- Hats off to our Junior hurlers who qualified for the County semi final  on Saturday last in Golden.In an evenly contested affair our two points in injury time were enough to see us through. We expect to play our Semi final on Saturday week, November 12th.

CLUB MEETING- Committee members are asked to attend on thursday night(November 3rd) at 8.30pm for our November meeting.

The Runai
We are looking forward to hosting the launch of Tomas O Baroids autobiography in our Clubhouse on Friday November 11th at 8pm. The book entitled ' The Runai' 50 years of GAA Memories was written by Tommy with Susan Max. The book will be officially launched by former GAA President,Peter Quinn on the night. Copies of the book will be available for sale on the night and all proceeds go to the hospice. GAA people from far and wide will join Tommy and his family to celebrate a life time of service to the Gaa at club,county and national level.

Ladies Notes
Thurles Sars Ladies Football club, players, committee members and supporters would like to express their sincerest sympathies to Veronica O'Toole and her family on the recent passing of her mother, Bridgie. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all in this difficult time.
