INTERMEDIATE HURLING
 
Last weekend another  fine display saw our Intermediate hurlers share the spoils with Gortnahoe-Glengoole on 19 points apiece.There was never much between the sides with Gortnahoe securing the draw in stoppage time. We have 2 remaining fixtures versus Moyne Templetuohy and Drom-Inch to play in the coming weeks.
 
MINOR HURLING
We expect the first round of the Mid Minor Hurling championship to take place this week and every week thereafter.Our first game will see our minors play JK Brackens

THURLES SARSFIELDS INTERNATIONAL HURLING FESTIVAL
The organizing committee are putting the final touches in their preparations for the inaugural Hurling Tournament which commences this weekend.Events kick off with a welcoming ceremony in the clubhouse on Friday night for the participating teams from Armagh,Kildare,Meath,Louth,London,Derry and USA. The tournament games will be played on Saturday morning and afternoon in  in Morris Park and Sarsfield's pitch, with the final fixed  6.30pm. The winners will receive the Semple Cup which will be presented by Mrs.Anne Gunning,daughter of Tom Semple. The competing teams will attend a barbecue and musical evening in the clubhouse  later that evening. The club are really looking forward to hosting this event and we extend a cead mile failte to members and friends to join us at the games.
 
MUNSTER HURLING FINAL
We wish Tipperary and our club contingent the best of luck for next Sundays Munster Hurling final in Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

LADIES FOOTBALL

Under 14's
The Under 14 County Championship winners for 2010 are presented with their medals and hoodies from Tipperary County Hurling player Michael Cahill.  

Cul Camp
The Cul Camps will run again this year, in August. The underage trainers will make the announcements at training, and further details will be found on the Star. So Keep posted!
